Feisty Friday

Yesterday (16 July) was Feisty Friday!

So, if by feisty you mean troublesome, arguementative and difficult, I think you can safely say I rose to the challenge!

Well, at some time around midnight (ish) on Thursday and continuing for the first few hours of Friday anyway, the rest of Feisty Friday was spent in a semi conscious state on the sofa! And what's wrong with asking a guy what he's planning to do with your number if you give him it? Sounds perfectly reasonable to me - particularly when the guy in question makes you want to instinctively argue with everything he says!!!

Yes, I gave him my number.

Good for you. There's not enough of this sort of stuff about.

Besides, you could end up like Scott and Charlene from Neighbours. That feisty wee mechanic, Charlene, was forever arguing with dear Scott, right up until the moment they fell head over heels in love and got married. Ah, the glory days.

Okay. I'm stopping. I won't say another word until I reach your most recent posts (probably some time tomorrow, I reckon). Promise.

Toot-toot and tally-ho etc.....

Unforunately though I think I offended him and he never called!

I'm bored of just talking on strange make-up day so I'm continuing on here. You cut it very fine dear chap and I applaud your distraction technique. Apart from having the shingles I'm doing ok I reckon, I think I missed the end of summer, it kind of just morphed into whatever it is now (it is a lovely sunny day here today).

Hahaha - it was a work thing! Over the course of 2 weeks we made the same journey there and back several times. There's something about being cocooned in the interior of a car on long journeys at night that just invites the sort of conversations that you really wouldn't have at any other time - or maybe it's just me!

I recently had my hair 'restyled' which for a period of about 2 weeks involved having to properly dry it and straighten it and all sorts - I gave up eventually, life's far too short to be spending that amount of time on it, I'd rather have the extra time in bed thank you very much.

Right now sudden movements are beyond me and I'm rather 'feak and weable'. I know I said I like the idea of having a stalker but I hadn't considered that this would make me the prey, that word sends shivers down my spine!

I feel I have to defend my pyjamas in the woods antics. It's literally across the road, there's no one about at that time in the morning and it was only on very, very hot days, once I was laying on the picnic blanket who would know?! I'm not talking big, fluffy, snuggly, winter 'obviously pyjamas' pyjamas - even I wouldn't go that far, well, maybe.

You'd better get some knee pads, shingles can last WEEKS! And because of your impertinence I expect an awful lot of praying to be done! Admittedly it does generally afflict the elderly but I am atypical - this is the fourth time I've had it (and the last time was at least 20 years ago!) and it's very unusual to get it in your knee! Although lately I may feel like I'm in my late seventies I can assure you that this is not the case.

I'm soooo relieved to hear you're feeling better though, I'm sure this news will facilitate my speedy recovery as I'll no longer be weeping and wailing over your fate.

I've wiped away the tears but I think I'll keep the gun on standby pending your next communication!

I think you're approaching areas of the blog that may not be as entertaining as the standard you've become accustomed to - I apologise, I can only work with what I'm given!

Toodle pip, H ;-)

He never called? The fool. I wonder how on earth you might have offended him? People can be touchy, I suppose. *Sigh*. I saw marriage.

Now, seeing as you unilaterally decided to jump blog posts and give me your answer here…...I’ve decided that I will act in similar vein and so will give you my own answer here. This way, in fact, I may reach your present day and future in a lot less time, come to think of it. Leaps and bounds, Ms H, leaps and bounds.

Let’s just see if it works……

(Obviously, I’ll now need to go and write something there. Hmm.)

Hmm. And I have no way of knowing whether the link worked, of course, because my comment won't appear until you say so. I should have thought of that.
